This Goat Island REEF website supports a project investigating how mobile devices can be integrated with free-choice (out of school) learning experiences to promote marine ecological literacy. The case study area of this project is situated at the Cape Rodney - Okakari Point Marine Reserve in North Auckland, commonly known as ‘Goat Island’, and the adjacent Goat Island Marine Discovery Centre.
